What’s the recipe for the MicroPitch Delay pedal?

It's a unique flavor profile of dual pitch-shifters with fine-resolution de-tuning and modulation combined with delay in a delicious red package. The pedal is the latest incarnation of a legendary effect that originated in the H910 and H949 Harmonizers, and later popularized with the H3000. It can be utilized for chorusing and savory repeating delays. It's a creative sonic design tool. It’s effective whether used subtlety as a thickening tone-enhancer or dialed to the extremes for special effects. The simplicity of the pedal’s ability to make things sound bigger is what makes it so tasty! With the MicroPitch Delay pedal, you can easily harness the power of this iconic Eventide effect that helped shape musical history with legendary songs by Van Halen, AC/DC, U2, Steve Vai and more.

Good Pedal; Software Interface Needs Work; Customer Service Ok

Regarding the pedal itself, I’m on my second one because the first one I ordered had a hardware issue. The Eventide Forum was extremely helpful in terms of troubleshooting but at the end of the day, I had tried everything and still couldn’t get a desired sound that I had seen on a YouTube video before, so I knew it was possible. Some of the suggestions at the end were less than helpful, only a hair above “did you try restarting it”. The software editor is lagging updates; both EDM and H90 Control don't work on a 2024 MacBook Air but work on a 2011 MacBook Air. Some of the settings are too esoteric for my needs but I’m using it solely as a mono > stereo splitter and as a pitch shifter; I don’t use the delay, which is fine if a user wants to use both.

I honestly think the software editor is the biggest laggard because the pedal interface is not very intuitive in terms of primary and secondary controls and toggling master settings and re-arranging presets. Immensely easier in the software editor to dial in tones and then just set the first six pre-sets for live performing.
