The Ultimate Channel Strip

UltraChannel™ is Eventide's channel strip plug-in that combines Micro Pitch functionality from the H9000 Harmonizer®, stereo delays with variable feedback paths, plus two stages of compression, gating and five bands of parametric EQ.

UltraChannel features a pair of dynamics processors: the O-Pressor™, capable of extreme compression (this is the compressor section of the Omnipressor®) and a conventional compressor with de-essing and side-chain capability.

UltraChannel™ also offers Soft-Saturation, and Transformer emulation which recreates transformer core saturation. This feature adds harmonics to low frequency material while remaining relatively transparent to the rest of signal. Transformer can bring life to otherwise dull mixes and help glue disparate sound sources together.

FlexiPath™ routing allows drag and drop for reordering the signal path of the top level components (O-Pressor, compressor/de-esser, EQ, Gate).

UltraChannel includes a variety of factory (and artist) presets tailored to signal sources such as guitar, bass, kick drum, snare, piano, strings, synths and vocals.

New fave channel strip

I throw this on all the synth tracks and a few others. The pitch and delay sections are great for widening and putting some air around dry synth sounds.
The EQ and comp sections are also great. Especially like that this channel strip includes TWO dynamics sections so you can use one to catch peaks and the other for slow level control, or however you like to do classic serial compression.
I really like how the feedback path for the delay can be changed. It massively affects the way the delay sounds in the best way.
Only downside is that it is a busy looking plugin. Perhaps they could have gone with 4 instead of 5 band and hidden some of the option buttons in an advanced settings toggle? Also a way to modulate the delays without resorting to DAW parameter automation would be nice. But not necessary. It's also not too resource hungry. I've had a dozen of these on a project and saw no system resource alerts.
