Eventide processors helped create a sound prolific in the 70s and 80s. I tend to believe the algorithms in the original processors are the same as in the plug-in in Anthology XII. Which is how I think of and use the Anthology. So far, I would say that has been my experience. I bought the Anthology on a Black Friday deal primarily to get the Tverb. I had a number of other Eventide plug-ins, so my upgrade price was not punitive. The vocal track on Bowie's Heroes is epic. Tverb is fantastic, and nails the sound. Similarly, the Ashes to Ashes patch on Instant Flanger is, well, Instant Bowie. I have used several other plug-ins in projects as well. So, for me, not cheap, but money well spent. I really like the Eventide plug-ins. They have a vibe. At some point in the future, the mighty H9000 would be a possibility for me as well.
