Warning for potential buyers

That plugin made me to buy used DSP 4000 yesterday. Not because it's bad. But because I want to have something similar for live performances. I think I don't like you Eventide guys already, I'm trying to save some cash and you constantly disrupt my attempts by tempting me with your algos!

Like / better than hardware

Everything that makes software sound flat and 2D is missing here. This even makes my hardware delays sound outdated. Mk I sounded mediocre, but Mk II is just phenomenal sounding!

Fab plugin!

The H3000 MKII is a marvel! It was one of my favorite pieces of hardware back in the day. The plugin is sooo close to the real thing it's scary. Well done!

Most Excellent

Sounds excellent. It imparts a warm sound which can add a steady, evening-out & thickening while also adding depth, width and interest to a source. Well done!

Fantastic

I love this plugin! It is instantly one of my go-to plugins for a variety of uses. The only complaint : please bring back presets organized by instruments (guitar, keyboards, vocals etc.). This was a useful option in version 1.

Eventide H3000 Mk II Pluggin

This pluggin is the real deal. I am a live playing keyboard player. I occasionally record for myself and others from my home studio. In the live setting I use a combination of real hardware and pluggins through a Mac Pro running GigPerformer as a host.
This H3000 Mk II is used for many sweeting of synth and sampled sounds. It works great for sharpening pop pianos to place them out front. Great compressions for keeping sounds tight. Just a Swiss army knife for sounds. Never cheap sounding or wrong. I highly recommend it. However you need to take the time to learn how to use it. Like every other tool or instrument learn how to maximize it. You won't regret it. Just buy it!

Big Step

On YouTube I saw some comparisons between the mk1 software vs the hardware H3000.
The software mostly came close, but you had the feeling, the audio material that went through it was not really embedded (don‘t find a better word).
After the first two demos about the mk 2 software, it was clear to me, that this is almost like having the real hardware… so I wanted to have it.
Only scratched the surface, but happy about the possibilities.
