Been waiting a long time for more immersive Dolby Atmos plug-ins like this to hit the market, this one is great, worth the wait. I use it for atmospheric soundscapes in my acupuncture/yoga/sound therapy studio and for live events performed in Atmos. It's perfect, has taken my production up a very appreciated notch. Thanks Eventide, looking forward to what you do next!
I haven’t put it through a full Atmos workout as my Atmos studio is under construction, but even in stereo this reverb sounds expansive and expensive...
Blackhole Immersive
Staff answer and fix problem quickly.
Can't use it on ableton 11 suite, so I'll have to wait for an ableton update to have an opinion
Tried with clean guitar arpeggio, lead guitar and the inevitable FM electric piano, virtual TF 816, as soon as I played the intro of legendary singer Dave Wang's "This Game, That Dream", my mind had suddenly been sucked into the nostalgia Black Hole, couldn't escape for hours.
The "cross feed" feature is a plus for the algorithm and is the key to the immersion!
At first I was unsure whether it would be interesting to invest in this plugin, among so many others that I already have. But, I am impressed with the sharpness and especially with the number of parameters that expand the use in an immersive scenario. It was really worth it!
Now we just have to wait for Eventide to develop compressors and equalizers for the immersive scenario.
Sounds even better than the original stereo version!
I like how easy is to balance front and rear. I highly recommend this wonderful fx for everyone who enjoyed the original BH and always wanted to have it surround.
I was really surprised on how well the Blackole Immersive fit in to a cellist I am mixing a DOLBY ATMOS mix for. Very clean and "ALIVE” sounding to my ears with so much I have not even started to explore yet with the plugin. Boundless In my humble opinion!
